These are the locations of the six new coronavirus hospital deaths in Yorkshire

The coronavirus death toll in Yorkshire hospitals has increased by six today.

It brings the total number of Covid-19 deaths at Yorkshire's hospitals to 2,755

The NHS England data reflects deaths from the latest reporting period from 5pm on Monday, June 15 to 5pm on Tuesday, June 16.

NHS England releases updated figures each day showing the dates of every coronavirus-related death in hospitals in England, often including previously uncounted deaths that took place several days or even weeks ago.

This is because of the time it takes for deaths to be confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19, for post-mortem examinations to be processed, and for data from the tests to be validated.

The new deaths confirmed across each hospital trust in Yorkshire are as follows:

BARNSLEY HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST - 1

DONCASTER AND BASSETLAW TEACHING HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST - 2

MID YORKSHIRE HOSPITALS NHS TRUST - 2

YORK TEACHING HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST - 1
