Grassington's town hall and square were transformed into a 1930s period set during filming in January.

The trailer also appears to show the stately home Broughton Hall, near Skipton, which regularly appears in TV and film shoots, including Netflix drama The English Game.

All Creatures Great and Small is based on the James Herriot books, the memoirs of Thirsk vet Alf Wight.

There will be six episodes, including a Christmas special.

The cast includes newcomer Nicholas Ralph as James Herriot, Samuel West as Siegfried Farnon, Anna Madeley as Mrs Hall, Callum Woodhouse as Tristan Farnon and Rachel Shenton as Helen Alderson.
