Sir Nigel Gresley: Locomotive to return to North Yorkshire Moors Railway this week
After a 10-year overhaul, the locomotive Sir Nigel Gresley has returned to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
In addition to its appearance at this weekend’s gala, NYMR has announced that tickets can now be bought for October dates for a special journey hauled by the Sir Nigel Gresley which in 1959 set the post-war speed record for steam traction of 112mph.
