5. Huddersfield to Hebden Bridge

As you head further afield along the journey, you can take in the stunning vistas down the Cragg Vale (pictured), with its Cragg Vale Coiners history, to Mytholmroyd, which is the longest continuous gradient in England, the area is very popular with those who enjoy a hike. 6. Huddersfield to Oldham via Marsden
Service: 184 Journey time: 1 hour and 15 minutes This bus route takes you over the tops of Marsden Moor and the large swathes of rugged moorland. Service: 840 Journey time: 2 hours and 39 minutes The Coastliner service was famously dubbed ‘the most scenic bus route in Britain’ in 2018. 8. Leeds to Morecambe (Bentham Line)
Journey time: 2 hours and 6 minutes This is thought to be one of Britain’s earliest railway lines and it starts and spirals through the valleys passing a variety of exciting sights including the World Heritage site of Saltaire Village (pictured) and the Keighley and Worth Railway.
