Good news for drivers hunting spare parts from Saab

SAAB’S closure has been troubling owners – many left with worthless warranties. However, some good news this week on spare parts. Production of spares is to re-start at Trollhättan.

Saab Automobile Parts has signed an agreement with the administrators of Saab Automobile allowing them the use of Saab’s press and body shop plant, including the specialist tooling, for the manufacture and assembly of body parts. A second agreement was also signed to acquire fully assembled parts and other components. This is believed to be a long-term agreement. In Britain, Saab Parts UK has been supplying parts and service support since the end of 2011. Alan Cowan, sales director, welcomed it as great news for Saab customers and the network of authorised repairers in the UK.

“Only original Saab parts are fitted and are backed by a two year manufacturer warranty.” More at www.saab.co.uk or 0845 3009395.
