Just tasted

Saskia 2008, Chenin Blanc Viognier, South Africa, Miles Mossop, Harrogate Fine Wine, 16.99.

This is the personal project of Miles Mossop who is winemaker at Tokara, one of South Africa's leading and best-equipped wineries. I first tasted this wine, named after Miles's daughter, in York when he headed north with The Wine Society.

This is an impressive dinner-party wine. I have tasted the 2007 and the 2008 vintages – both are excellent.
