De Grendel Sauvignon Blanc 2009, South Africa, Oddbins, down from 9.99 to 5.99 until July 4. A terrific offer on this wine which is full of bright, zesty citrus and passion fruit flavours. Keep a bottle chilled and ready for action when the sun shines.

Ctes de Rhne Belleruche, 2008, Chapoutier, Majestic down from 7.99 to 5.99 on multibuy until July 19. A gutsier style of Ctes du Rhne with ripe bramble fruit, a sprinkle of herbs and enough flavour to cope with grilled sausages and steak.

Fleurie 2008, Bouchard Pre et Fils, Waitrose down from 9.99 to 7.99 until July 6. If your last taste of Beaujolais was Nouveau then put all thoughts of thin acidic wines out of your head. The whole region has moved upmarket and this is one of the top crus of the area.

Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Champagne, Tesco, down from 27.99 to 13.99 until July 13. Apparently there is plenty of stock to go around on this cracking fizz offer at Tesco. This is a light, clean, apples and pears style of champagne, perfect for any standing-up occasion.
