Wine Club: May Madness

This month's offer brings you six distinctly different styles of wine from just two grape varieties, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Chardonnays come from Chile, Australia and France and provide a range of flavours from clean, crisp and zesty to floral and aromatic. The Cabernets include a stylish Italian classic and fuller fruity flavours from Australia and Chile.

This case of 12 should cost 105 but because our Wine Club supplier has managed to snap up stock from a recession-hit importer, we can offer it at the special price of 64, but stocks are limited. Leyda Reserva Chardonnay 2008, Chile Crisp, lively citrussy fruit, perfect for spring.

Pitchfork Unwooded Chardonnay 2009, South Australia Soft, pineapple-rich flavours and no oak.

Villa Sandi Cuve de Cabernet Sauvignon e Franc, 2008, Italy Elegant, food-friendly, blackcurrant-rich drinking.

Leyda Classic Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 2007, Chile Soft, ripe, red-berried fruit and balanced, stylish tannins.
