Whether you’re saving for your retirement, an extra special holiday, have a lump sum set aside that you’ve been meaning to invest or are unhappy with your cash ISA rate, our Investment ISA could be a great way to save for your next milestone.
Our Investment ISA is a convenient and flexible way to invest a lump sum or save on a regular basis, and the best bit? It's tax-free*.
Our ISA has the potential to out-perform cash ISAs over the longer term, whilst smoothing out the short-term ups-and-downs usually associated with stocks & shares ISAs.
- Current interim bonus rate of 3.50% (before charges of 1.50%)**
- Potential for tax-free growth through annual and final bonuses**
- Access to your money when you need it***
- Accepts transfers
ISAs are investments with tax advantages, which means that the money you put in will grow tax-free*. The Sheffield Mutual Investment ISA also offers an enhanced death benefit of 101% of the policy value.
The maximum allowance for ISAs is £20,000 for the current tax year (which runs from 6 April to 5 April).
Four types of ISA are available – stocks and shares ISAs, cash ISAs, innovative finance ISAs and lifetime ISAs. Sheffield Mutual only offers a stocks and shares ISA, in the form of a with- profits insurance policy, which is designed to be a medium to long-term investment.
We refer to this as an Investment ISA because the with-profits fund invests in a range of different assets including property and bonds as well as the stock market.
Start saving from as little as £30 a month or invest from just a £300 lump sum and watch your tax-free* savings grow.
There is no specific term for our ISA, but to take full advantage we suggest saving for at least three to five years.
