Air ambulance returns to TV

A FLY-ON-THE-WALL documentary following the life-saving work of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance returns to TV on Monday.

The sixth series of Helicopter Heroes again follows the life-saving work of YAA’s paramedics, doctors and pilots, based at Leeds Bradford airport and RAF Topcliffe, near Thirsk, featuring nerve-wracking real-life rescue missions from across the region.

The BBC1 show will air on weekdays at 9.15am for four weeks throughout October.
