Airlift after 200ft plunge from cliff
A woman was airlifted to hospital yesterday with serious injuries after plunging about 200ft from cliffs.
The 45-year-old was seen at about 3pm by members of the public jumping from the cliff top at Beachy Head in East Sussex before landing on a ledge.
A coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent was sent and she was taken to hospital with serious head and limb injuries.
