Airlift to hospital for injured skydiver
A skydiver was airlifted to hospital last night after being hurt in a jump over Bridlington.
Scores of people were watching the skydive involving a display team at a charity music festival in the town when the incident happened at dusk.
The skydiver is believed to have been hurt on landing and was flown from the cricket field at Queensgate in Brid-lington to hospital in Scar-borough in a rescue helicopter from RAF Leconfield.
