All the world's a stage, but the local talent triumphs

Hundreds of competitors from across the country are taking part in the annual festival at Harrogate Ladies' College.

But it was the locals who took top prizes in the second week of the festival with two Knaresborough schoolchildren winning the coveted speech and drama shield. The festival resumes on Friday for its final weekend with the brass, percussion and bands section.
