Appeal as man attempts to accost girl aged 12

The girl was approached by a man who got out of a black estate car at the rear of Immingham Civic Centre in Pelham Road at about 5.30pm on Wednesday and asked her to get in.

She refused and was collected a short time later and taken home, while the man drove off.

The suspect is about 6ft tall, of slim build, spoke with a local accent and wore a woollen hat with flaps and strings at the sides, and navy tracksuit bottoms with white stripes. Anyone with information can call Humberside Police on 101.
