Arsonists sought after attack on North Yorkshire restaurant

Police are hunting arsonists who broke into a derelict restaurant in Ripon and set it on fire.

It is believed that the offenders broke into the rear of the former Hong Kong restaurant at 81B North Street, Ripon, and started a fire on the first floor of the building on Tuesday July 5 between 2pm and 3pm.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information to help with their investigation.
