Attack victim in critical condition
A MAN was in a critical condition in hospital yesterday after suffering what police described as “serious head injuries” when he was attacked outside a pub.
Detectives said the 37-year-old victim had attended a poker evening event at the Grove House pub in York Road, Doncaster, before he was assaulted outside at 1.15am on Friday.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The man, from the Carcroft area, was attacked close to the pub car park area.

Hide Ad“He was attacked by another man and no weapons were used. We are appealing for witnesses, particularly people who were in the pub earlier that night, to come forward.”
