Audi motorist arrested for
driving at boys

Two boys were lucky to escape after a motorist twice drove at them.

The young victims, aged nine and 14, were walking on the pavement on Ingham Road in Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury, with two other children when they noticed a silver Audi A3 driving towards them. As it approached them, it went up the pavement and drove at them at 5.10pm on Sunday.

They managed to jump out of the way but the car then stopped and reversed back towards the victims. It missed the boys for a second time but damaged a wall before the driver left the area.
