Blaze victim tests'could take weeks'

Forensic tests to formally identify an elderly man whose body was found following a blaze at his York home are expected to take weeks to complete.

Police confirmed that the 97-year-old man was the sole occupant of the bungalow in the Foxwood area. However, a spokesman said it was unlikely the man would be formally identified for several weeks, although his next of kin have been told
