Boost for tourism as grants on offer
North East Lincolnshire Council is launching a grants scheme, with awards available to community groups, organisations, not-for-profit companies and charities.
Priority will be given to applications which show they have the potential to attract large audiences, have secured a high percentage of partnership funding and have clear credibility to deliver events safely and effectively.

"Tourism in Cleethorpes and North East Lincolnshire as a whole is already very strong and these grants will enable many more events to be organised and delivered by groups that may not have been able to afford to do so without some help.
"The funding will help to further improve the tourism offer by introducing a greater variety of new and exciting projects."
She added: "The funding available in the current financial year is up to 85,000 and in terms of value for money, this amount will be more than matched through the valuable contribution that events can make to our visitor economy."
