Budget meeting broadcast online

A MEETING to discuss South Yorkshire Police’s budget in the coming financial year will be broadcast to members of the public tonight.

South Yorkshire Police Authority’s budget focus group meeting, which is also open to the public, will be broadcast online between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The discussion will form part of the police authority’s consultations ahead of its budget announcement in the spring on how much funding will be available to the police force in the coming year.

“Bill Wilkinson, chief executive of South Yorkshire Police Authority and Tracy Webster, community engagement officer at the authority, will be on hand to facilitate the discussions and answer any questions.”
