Bulls join campaign against domestic violence

The Bradford Bulls supported victims of domestic violence yesterday by endorsing the White Ribbon Campaign, a global movement of men working to end violence. The Bulls joined the ranks of Amir Khan, Liverpool FC, AC Milan and Inter Milan by pledging to never commit, condone or be silent about violence against women.

Andy Lynch, Chev Walker and Heath L'Estrange yesterday met Richard Lopag from the campaign to add their backing.

On average two women a week are killed by male partners or former partners in the UK, representing about a third of all female killings. Bulls captain Andy Lynch said: 'Most men don't hit or harm women, however this campaign is about sending out a clear message that we should never remain silent or turn a blind eye to violence against women.'
