Cameron's wife to work as adviser to Fashion Week

PRIME Minister David Cameron's wife Samantha, is to work as an adviser for London Fashion Week, it was announced yesterday.

Mrs Cameron will take an informal, unpaid role working with the British Fashion Council as it prepares for the glamorous catwalk show, which puts the global spotlight on the UK clothing industry twice a year.

Although she has been unable to attend any of this month's Fashion Week because of the recent birth of her daughter Florence, Mrs Cameron aims to be "fully involved" starting from next season's event in February.

She said: "London Fashion Week is extremely important to the fashion industry in the UK and I look forward to being fully involved from next season."
