Candles to shed light on Cathedral wonder
Senior lay-clerk at Ripon Cathedral Matthew Lennox gets ready for a Night Church event to show off the building by candlelight on Friday October 8.
It will include meditative music and video installations, after the Compline, sung by men of the Cathedral choir at 9pm. Video installations by Phil Ogden and artist Joanna Hutton are part of the Wilfrid Festival Weekend which includes a Son et Lumiere at 7.30pm on the Saturday on the life of St Wilfrid, founder of the cathedral. His life will be commemorated at a service on Sunday led by Dean of Sheffield the Very Rev Peter Bradley,
