Celebrities set off on cycle marathon
Celebrity cyclists, from left, Davina McCall, David Walliams, Miranda Hart, Fearne Cotton, Russell Howard and Patrick Kielty, set off on a 1,000-mile ride from John O'Groats to Land's End yesterday aiming to raise £1m for Sport Relief.
The first 24 hours of the non-stop relay ride will see the fundraisers tackle an overall hill ascent of almost 29,000ft – the equivalent of Mount Everest. They will be joined along the way by comedian Jimmy Carr.
