Children injured as bus crashes
Eight children suffered minor injuries when a bus crashed in icy conditions in Wakefield yesterday morning.
The single-decker bus struck a traffic island in the middle of Hollingthorpe Lane, Hall Green. No other vehicles were involved.
The injuries included whiplash and minor facial bumps.
