Children stable after explosion

FOUR children are in a "stable" condition in hospital after being severely burned in an explosion in Dukes Crescent, Edlington, Doncaster, on Monday evening.

Seven children, aged between seven and 13, were apparently using model car fuel to start a fire in an outdoor brazier.

The nitrous methane exploded, causing severe burns including face and chest injuries.
