Club stabbing pair in hospital

TWO people are being treated for stab wounds after a disturbance at a Yorkshire nightclub in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Police were called to the Mansion club, on Beast Market in Huddersfield just after 2.10am.

Officers said several other people suffered injuries consistent with being stabbed.

The disturbance appeared to have started inside the venue before spilling out onto the street, police said. No arrests have yet been made.

The two victims in hospital are in a serious but stable condition.
