Council to take control of schools
Plans for Bradford Council to re-take control of its education services were rubber-stamped yesterday.
Councillors unanimously endorsed the scheme to ask the Government to remove an order which made the authority bring in a private firm, Serco, 10 years ago following a critical Ofsted inspection.
