Court officer on misconduct charge
Police suspect a Crown Court custody officer helped to smuggle mobile phones and drugs into prisons.
Alan Redmond, 24, is accused of passing contraband to prisoners at Inner London Crown Court, in Southwark.
Police said Redmond, of Elephant and Castle, London, is charged with misconduct and Hayley Turner, 30, of Chislehurst, Kent, is charged with conspiring to supply drugs and to smuggle prohibited items into prison.
