Cousin, 10, of pop star is found hanged

Harry Hucknall was found by his next-door neighbour at his home in Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria, on Sunday night.

Ambulance crews were called to the address in Ullswater Close but despite the efforts of family members and paramedics, the boy was pronounced dead when he arrived at Furness General Hospital in nearby Barrow.

Police have launched a full investigation into the death and the coroner has been informed.

Harry is a twice removed cousin of singer Hucknall, whose cousin is Harry's grandfather.

A spokeswoman for Hucknall's management team said: "Mick is travelling at the moment as the band are on tour in Asia so I haven't been able to speak with him, but I am sure that Mick will be shocked and saddened by this terrible news, as we all are.

"Our thoughts are with Harry's family."
