Cricketer Khan due to give talk at university

BRADFORD University is hosting an audience with cricket legend and politician Imran Khan next month.

Mr Khan, who has been the university's chancellor for the past five years, will be answering questions at an event on its main campus on Wednesday December 1 and will also talk about his charity work and the continuing crisis affecting Pakistan after the devastating floods.

The university is keen for young people from the city to attend the event which has been organised in partnership with the Bradford District Faiths Forum.

Dean Nadira Mirza, of the School of Lifelong Education and Development said: "Imran Khan is a frequent visitor to the city and district of Bradford. With many demands on his time, he is often unable to attend local events and meet local people so this is a wonderful opportunity for our communities to meet Imran and for Imran to meet our communities."
