‘Appalling’ attack by vandals on BMW
THOUSANDS of pounds worth of damage was done to a BMW after it was attacked by vandals in Eastfield, near Scarborough.
Between 8.30pm and 8.55pm on Wednesday the windows of the silver 3 Series were smashed and an implement used to put holes in the boot, bonnet and doors. PC John-Simon Coleman of North Yorkshire Police appealed for witnesses and said: “It is beyond belief what anyone hoped to gain from this appalling act.”
