Armed robber threatened petrol station staff with metal bar
POLICE have released CCTV images of an armed robber who threatened staff at a Sheffield petrol station before escaping with cash and cigarettes.
The man entered the Texaco garage on City Road in the Arbourthorne area of Sheffield and threatened staff with what is described as a metal bar.
Damage was caused to a display in the shop but no one was injured. The man is said to have taken cash and some cigarettes before running out of the shop and turning left along City Road.The incident At about 4.40am on Friday 18, but police only released details today.Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 209 of 18 February 2017.
