Bradford Pc faces charges for using his car to stop man
Pc Steven Mullaney, 40, of West Yorkshire Police, has been summonsed to face charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice following an Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) investigation.
The IPCC said the charges relate to an incident in Mary Street, Bradford, on March 18 when a police car driven by Pc Mullaney was in collision with a 38-year-old man who suffered injuries including to his shoulder and ankle.

Hide AdA commission spokesman said it is also alleged that the officer made an attempt to conceal evidence about the incident.
Mullaney, who is based at Lawcroft House police station in Bradford, will appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on October 22.
The IPCC said it carried out an independent investigation into the incident following a referral by West Yorkshire Police.
