Car stopped and searched in drugs arrest in York
A 36-year-old man has been arrested in York in connection with drugs offences.
Police stopped his grey Audi A3 at Cliftongate Business Park shortly before 11am yesterday, after they suspected there were drugs in the vehicle. A search of the car revealed an amount of cannabis and some scales.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said the man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession with intent to supply a class B drug and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
