Children’s toys stolen from garage in Sowerby Bridge

POLICE are trying to track down thieves who stole a child’s toys from a garage in Sowerby Bridge.

Three children’s toys, including a yellow and green pedal tractor and trailer, a blue battery-powered quad bike and a yellow pedal car were taken during the burglary.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident, which happened at a padlocked garage at a property on Burnley Road between 10.30am and 1pm on Tuesday, September 22.

Power tools were also stolen.

PC Dawn Sutcliffe, of Valley’s Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “The toys are of great sentimental value to the three-year-old boy, with one in particular featuring a personal registration plate which would make the item very distinctive.

“I would urge anyone who has seen these items for sale, been invited to buy them or has been given them as a gift to come forward.”

Enquiries are ongoing.
