Class A drugs and designer clothing seized from house in affluent Yorkshire village

A woman has been arrested after cash and drugs were seized from a house in an East Yorkshire village.

Humberside Police said jewellery and designer clothing were also taken in a search on the house in Cottingham, near Hull.

The search was carried out after officers pulled over a vehicle which was being driven erratically on nearby Priory Road at around 7.40pm yesterday (Tuesday), seizing a quantity of cannabis.

A search on the house on Hallgate resulted in the discovery of substances police believe to be crack cocaine, cannabis and other controlled drugs.

A 26-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent supply both Class A and class B drugs. She remains in our custody, assisting us with our enquiries.
