Designer items taken during sneak-in theft

Humberside Police say that the home-owners were in the house but in another room when the items were stolen from the house on Grove Park, Beverley at around 8pm on Saturday February 18.

They included a yellow leather handbag, a light blue purse with white flowers on it, a pair of Michael Kors tortoiseshell sunglasses and two watches. One was a blue and tan coloured Fossil brand men’s watch and the other a pink and gold Apple watch.

Following the incident residents are being urged by police to keep doors and windows locked in unoccupied rooms, as a quarter of all burglaries are through insecure doors and windows.
