THREE men were taken to hospital and eight were arrested following a brawl in Sheffield which left one man with serious stab wounds.

It is thought that the trouble began at a premises above Cafe Euro in John Street, near Bramall Lane football ground, at around 10.40pm on Tuesday evening and then spilled out onto the street.

As the police investigation got under way, part of John Street, in Sharrow, was cordoned off.
