First picture of shot Leeds Wpc Suzanne Hudson as James Leslie remanded for attempted murder
James Leslie is accused of shooting Pc Suzanne Hudson in Cardigan Road, Leeds, on Wednesday and also attempting to kill the officer she was with at the time, Pc Richard Whiteley.
Pc Hudson, 33, was left with serious injuries to her face, neck and hand.
Pc Whiteley was uninjured.

Hide AdThe officers were attending a routine neighbourhood call when a firearm was discharged.
Leslie appeared before District Judge David Kitson at Leeds Magistrates’ Court for a brief hearing this morning.
Leslie, of Queenswood Drive, Leeds, stood in the glass-fronted dock for the three-minute hearing flanked by two women security guards.
Dressed in a navy blue jumper and blue trousers, he spoke only to confirm his personal details.

Hide AdAs well as two counts of attempted murder, he is also charged with possessing a firearm, possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life, criminal damage to a bathroom window and possessing cannabis.
The district judge told him he will be remanded in custody to appear again at Leeds Crown Court on December 20.
There was no application for bail.
Pc Hudson remains in a serious but stable condition in a Leeds hospital, West Yorkshire Police said.
