West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said two cars were involved in the collision, which took place at the M62 between junction 28 for Tingley and 29 Eastbound.
The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Two fire appliances from Hunslet and one from Ossett attended.
