Golf club raiders sentenced to jail
TWO burglars who raided golf clubs in North and South Yorkshire during a spree covering 17 counties have been jailed.
Daniel Lloyd, 43, of Keston, London, and Joe McCaughey, 26, of New Addington, Croydon, were sentenced to five and three years respectively after being convicted at trial.
Among the clubs targeted were Oakdale, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Beadale in North Yorkshire and Bawtry in South Yorkshire.
