Man arrested after young boy seriously injured in Hull crash

A man has been arrested after a young boy was seriously injured in a crash in Hull.

The crash happened on Rosemead Park shortly after midday today (Monday, May 25).

Humberside Police have confirmed that a young boy was seriously injured in the collision.

He remains in hospital being treated for his injuries.

A man has now been arrested in connection with the crash following an appeal from the Humberside Roads Policing Section.

A spokesperson for the force said: "A man has been arrested in connection with a collision which has caused serious injuries to young boy on Rosemead Park today shortly after midday today.

"The boy remains in hospital at this time being treated for his injuries.

"Thanks to the public for their help in sharing our appeal."
