Man charged with six attempted kidnappings over multiple incidents reported in Rotherham


The 30-year-old man appeared at Sheffield Magistrates Court charged with six counts of attempted kidnap on Saturday.
South Yorkshire Police have not officially released details of the alleged incidents to which the charges are connected, but said they related to "multiple reports of concern" received by members of the public in the Herringthorpe area on Thursday.

Hide AdShamaz Ali, of Clough Road, has been charged with six counts of attempted kidnap, one count of assault with intent to resist lawful apprehension, one count of criminal damage and one count of driving over the prescribed limit.
Ali was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Friday, October 23.
