Man deliberately coughed in face of family-of-three out for park walk before racially abusing them

A man deliberately coughed in the faces of three family members while they were out for a walk, before racially abusing them in a hate crime incident in Doncaster.

The family were walking in Sandal Park in the Wheatley area at around 1.50pm on January 27, when the man approached them on a bike, removed his mask and coughed at them.

He then made several racially aggravated threats towards them before riding off in the direction of Barnby Dunn Road.

South Yorkshire Police have now released an e-fit of the man in question.

A force spokeswoman said: "After exploring several lines of enquiry including CCTV analysis, police now want to speak to anyone who thinks they may know who the man in the E-fit is.

"Do you know this man? Did you witness what happened?"
