Missing girls believed to be together

CONCERN is growing for two 14-year-old girls missing from their homes in Leeds for nearly three days.

Friends Jasmine Carty and Lisa McKie are believed to be together.

They were last seen at about 4pm on Monday when they left their homes in the Swarcliffe area to go to nearby shops. They were reported missing by their families later that evening.

Police checked several addresses without success to try to find the girls, who both go to East Leeds Academy.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The girls are not in any trouble but we need them to contact us or their families so we know they are safe.”

Jasmine is white with long ginger hair and is about 5ft 6ins tall.

Lisa is also white and about 5ft tall. She wears glasses and has shoulder-length distinctive purple coloured hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Killingbeck Police Station by calling the 101 on-emergency number.
