Officers seize smuggled cigarettes in a police raid
Over 55,000 packets of cigarettes with a street value of more than £300,000 have been seized by police in South Yorkshire.
Officers from Rotherham Central Local Policing Team carried out a raid at an address in Eastwood in Rotherham today.
It is thought that the haul has been smuggled into the UK from abroad.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of tax evasion and possession of criminal property.
