Photograph released of man killed in attack as man charged with manslaughter

A photograph has been released of a man who was killed in an attack in West Yorkshire.

Paul McTasney- nee Adams, 38, was killed after an incident in Vivien Road in Bradford in the early hours of Saturday, May 9.

Officers were called by the ambulance service at 1.52am after they had taken a man to hospital with serious head injuries.

He later died in hospital.

Today, police charged a 31-year-old man with manslaughter.

The man, from Vivien Road, will appear before Leeds Magistrates Court on Monday, May 11.

A 22-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the matter has been released with no further action taken.

Enquiries remain ongoing into Mr McTasney’s death by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
