Police alert after boy of 7 is spotted in pyjamas and backpack at 1am
POLICE are appealing for information after reports that a child was spotted walking alone in the early hours of the morning wearing his pyjamas and a Spiderman backpack.
Humberside Police received two separate calls just after 1am from members of the public who saw the boy, thought to be around seven.
The youngster was carrying a Spiderman backpack and wearing red and blue pyjamas and red and blue slippers while walking along Margaret Street in Grimsby.
He is described as being white with dark hair.

Hide AdArea searches commenced immediately following the reports but, as yet, the child has not been located.
Police are keen to trace the child to ensure his safety and are urging anyone with any information to call 999 urgently in an emergency or 101.
