Police bid to trace man for clues about Doncaster assault

POLICE are appealing for the man pictured in this CCTV image to contact them as detectives believe he may hold vital information about a serious assault at a Doncaster pub.

At around 6.35pm on Saturday 12 December, there was a reported altercation between four men inside the stairwell of a JD Wetherspoons in Priory Walk, Doncaster.

A 28-year-old man was assaulted, suffering serious facial injuries that required hospital treatment.

Despite extensive enquiries including the review of CCTV footage, no arrests have been made.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or knows the man in the picture is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police via 101 or by emailing [email protected] quoting incident number 823 of 12 December 2015.
